74 year-old Arlen Specter's 24th year in the Senate was almost his last. He faced a serious primary challenge this spring. Ever since, Specter has been attacked from the other side of the political spectrum. WHYY's Brad linder reports. (11/1/04) [Listen]
The two major parties will spend millions getting their partisans to the polls on Tuesday. Many of those dollars will go to pay Election Day workers in Philadelphia and elsewhere for their time.
