Throughout the convention, on WHYY-TV, Nancy Karibjanian and Tracy Matisak anchored WHYY Delaware Tonight. WHYY's Bill Wilmore and Laura Krauth reported from the First Union Center on election issues that affect Delaware residents.
From the First Union Center, Karibjanian and Matisak hosted Skybox Live: Convention 2000, a nightly 30-minute special from WHYY's First Union Center press box that gave daily insights, interviews and analysis of the convention.
Jacqueline Boulden joined Matisak in the Skybox to preview the night's activities. Satirist Will Durst, host of the PBS program Livelyhood, added his humorous observations to Skybox Live. WHYY's content partner, FOX News Philadelphia, provided news updates throughout the telecast.
Primetime coverage included The Newshour's Jim Lehrer and correspondents Margaret Warner, Gwen Ifill, Ray Suarez and Terrence Smith.
WHYY-Digital Television also broadcast "gavel to gavel" live coverage of the Republican National Convention in HDTV.
