Dr. Robert Rosenbaum is Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for Christiana Care Health Services, Delaware’s largest hospital network.
Dr. Rosenbaum is Christiana Care’s Emergency Preparedness Chairman. He is also Chairman of the Christiana Care Medical Reserve Corps. He is part of the Doctors for Emergency Service (DFES) staffing Christiana and Wilmington’s Emergency Department. Dr. Rosenbaum is the EMS Medical Director for New Castle County EMS.
Dr. Rosenbaum was one of the first three employees of the Division of Public Health’s Preparedness Section when it was established in 2002. He served as the Section’s first medical director. From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Rosenbaum chaired the Statewide Hospital Preparedness Committee to coordinate emergency planning and purchasing activities among hospitals. He continues to work with the office on drills and the development of response plans.
Dr. Rosenbaum graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1994. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Medical Center of Delaware (now Christiana Care) including Chief Resident in 1997.
