A test could also alarm gardeners of possible dangers hidden in their garden beds! Mike McGrath will explain how to get the best and cheapest soil test, whether you're checking for PH balance or heavy metals.
11/23/02 Listen Fig trees and rosemary are classic examples of Mediterranean plants we love, but many of us are growing them in climates that make it difficult for these prized plants to survive the winter. Mike McGrath will discuss how you can protect them during the cold season. Mike will also put grow lights to the test: many are mostly dim, but one type really can light up your indoors like the summer sun.
11/30/02 Listen The Holiday Season is here, and Mike McGrath will go through the first part of his list of great gifts for the gardener in your life. He'll discuss his favorite tools to deal with deer and weeds. Mike will also share his Christmas Tree advice and explain what you can do to keep your tree from losing its needles and turning brown.
