Jim Coleman Recipes Homemade Dog Biscuits These are fun to make with kids, but make sure you also make a people treat that they can enjoy, too. Makes about 2 dozen 4- 5 inch cookie cutter "bones." Or, roll into logs to make bite-size training treats. Dole out in small amounts, even though your pooch will ask for more — at least until you know how their system handles these ingredients. For this recipe you will need:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Mix broth, peanut butter, and olive oil together. Add remaining ingredients and mix into a smooth dough. 3. Roll out about one-half inch thick and cut to desired shape with a biscuit cutter. Bake for 20 minutes or until brown. Remove from oven and let cool. 4. For a crunchier texture, microwave 3 to 4 biscuits at a time for about 60 to 90 seconds. Let cool. Store in an airtight container.
