Liver (Taste Like Chicken) Pate

For this recipe you will need:

  • 3 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 pound chicken livers - cleaned
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pound cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon

1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a baking dish.

2. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

3. Cool; process in a blender or food processor until smooth.

4. Add cream cheese and tarragon, process until creamy.

5. Serve with toasted bread or crackers
