Cheesy Ham and Apple Muffins

For this recipe you will need:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped Granny Smith apple
  • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced smoked ham

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into large mixing bowl.

Combine butter, milk and eggs; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apple, cheese and ham. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400° F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Turn out on wire rack to cool.
