Asian Flavored Popcorn

For this recipe you will need:

  • 8 cups unseasoned popped popcorn (plain store-bought is fine)
  • 1/3 cup toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Preheat oven to 300° degrees.

Blend together oil, soy sauce, five spice and ginger.

Pour oil over popcorn and toss to distribute evenly.

Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Bake for ten minutes, or until popcorn is crisp.

If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over popcorn and serve immediately.
