The Ingredients you will need are:
1 1/4 cups sifted All-Purpose Flour
Preheat the oven to 225 degrees. Mix together the flour and baking powder and= sift them into a bowl. In a separate bowl mix together the whole eggs and milk, then whisk in 3 tablespoons of the melted butter. Let the batter rest in the refrigerator for a few hours before proceeding.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, then gently fold them into the batter. Grease a griddle with a small amount of the remaining butter. When the griddle is hot pour in about 3/4 of a cup of the batter to make on pancake 6 to 7 inches wide. Cook until slightly browned on the bottom, then flip it over and brown on the other side. Repeat this procedure with the rest of the batter, and as they are cooked place the pancakes on a rack in a warm oven.
When all the pancakes are done, take them out of the oven and place them on warm plates. This recipe is delicious served with warm poached pears or apples and will serve 6 for breakfast.
