Wash lemons thoroughly. Thinly peel, making sure to get only the yellow and none of the white.
In a large glass container, marinate the lemon peels in the alcohol for 48 hours. Strain the liquid and discard the peels (lemons may be reserved for another use).
In a medium sauce pan, boil milk and add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Cool. Add lemon infused alcohol. Store in refrigerator and serve chilled.
