Attie's Old-Fashioned Salmon Burgers

For this recipe you will need:

  • 1½ pounds of salmon filets, skin removed
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

To prepare this recipe:

Finely chop the salmon with a knife. Place the salmon in a bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients. Divide the salmon mixture into 4 patties, and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

Spray the burgers with nonstick spray if grilling, or saute in a little butter in a nonstick pan. Cook about 5 to 6 minutes on each side for a medium to medium-well burger.

Serve immediately.
