"Imaginary Left-over Beer" Beer Bread

For this recipe you will need:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces beer, room temp
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 T caraway seeds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

In a large bowl combine flour and sugar. Add beer and mix well. The mixture will be sticky. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes. Remove trom oven, bursh the top of the loaf with butter and caraway seeds and return to oven to finish cooking. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
