Mother's Day is one of the busiest days in the restaurant industry. Everybody wants to do something special for the mom in their life, but many chefs agree; you might be better off cooking at home! How about a special picnic? We'll hear about recipes that travel well, and discuss what kinds of gear you need. Our guest is Jennifer Barry, one of the authors of "Festive Picnics." Later, we'll chat with Greek restaurateur George Kyrtatas, whose mother taught him how to run a successful restaurant. Every country has its favorite baked goods; croissants in France, flatbreads in India, scones in England, and it's home bakers who pass the recipes on from one generation to the next. Our guests are Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duguid, they traveled around the world to collect baking recipes, stories and photographs. Their new book is called "Home Baking: The Artful Mix of Flour and Tradition Around the World." Later, we'll get the scoop on "Jubilee Chocolates" an artisan chocolate company that's getting a lot of attention around the country.
