A dinner and a movie is a great recipe for a date - and the way food is portrayed in movies these days, you can really build up an appetite in the theater! We'll find out how food got to take the main stage and talk about some memorable food scenes. Jim Coleman's guest is Philadelphia Inquirer film critic Carrie Ricky. Later on the show, we'll hear from successful Los Angeles restaurateur Pierro Salvaggio, who makes sure our movie stars are well fed. Finally, we'll switch art forms - and catch up with a retired ballet dancer who is now a chef. Linda Hymes will join us to discuss her new book "The Dancing Gourmet."

Spring is here and with it come two wonderful holidays; Passover and Easter. We'll gather delicious recipes for both with Philadelphia caterer Lynn Buono. She grew up observing an Italian Easter and now joins her husband in Passover celebrations. Later on, the Foodnetwork's Alton Brown will "crack you up" with a zany and scientific look at the oval symbol of renewal - the egg. We'll also get the nutritional scoop on the goodies in you Easter Basket, and take a dive to harvest some healthy seaweed. Lindsay Gilmore of Organic Planet will join us to explain how to cook with this nutritious ingredient.

Every year cookbook authors flock to Philadelphia for the annual Book and The Cook event. Throughout the ten-day affair, restaurants, authors and food personalities prepare special meals together, offer cooking classes, and sign books. We took this opportunity to meet up with some of the country's finest chefs. During this hour, Scott Uhlein of Canyon Ranch Spa will show us how to prepare glorious spa food. We'll also hear from Seattle chef Tom Douglas and Food Network host Sara Moulton. Later on the show, Jim Coleman gets a chance to meet one of his earliest inspirations and the chef who created California cuisine, Jeremiah Tower. His new book is called "Jeremiah Tower Cooks."

The Cuisine of Veracruz Are you ready for some peppered shrimp, avocado salad, and Chile-braised ribs? Chef Jim Coleman will take you on a culinary journey to the beautiful Veracruz region in Mexico. Flavored by Spanish, Caribbean and African influences, the cuisine of Veracruz is fragrant and approachable. Chef Coleman's guest is New York restaurant owner Zarela Martinez, her new book is called "Zarela's Veracruz." Later on the show, we'll get a history lesson by reading antique cookbooks: Author Janet Theophano talks about her new book "Eat My Words: Reading Women's Lives Through The Cookbooks They Wrote." We'll also hear why many restaurants are taking Chilean Sea Bass off the menu.
