Revenge
Listen via Real Audio
Somebody at work ridicules you in a meeting. You stay calm, fuming inside. Next chance you get - you hide your co-workers palm pilot. Childish? Sure - but it feels so good! Research shows that our desire for revenge may be hard-wired in our genes. Preparing for revenge lights up the same centers of the brain as satisfying hunger. Dan Gottlieb and his guests will take a scientific look at revenge. Our guests are Dr. Andrew Newberg, and Michael McCullough. Newberg is Assistant Professor of Radiology University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, McCullough is professor of psychology and religious studies at the University of Miami.

Women and Sexual Desire
Listen via Real Audio

What about stress, lack of self-esteem, or the relationship a woman is in? Dan Gottlieb will discuss a new book called Reclaiming Your Sexual Self. It encourages women to take charge of their sexual health and well-being. Author Kathryn Hall Ph.D. is a psychologist in New Jersey.
