Drawing on his 30-year career in hematology and oncology, Groopman presents stories based on his patients and his own debilitating back injury in his book "The Anatomy of Hope : How People Prevail in the Face of Illness." We'll also hear from Jim Knipfel, author of "Ruining it for Everybody."

Menopause is a major turning points in a woman's life. It's a process of change, and can have a strong effect on mood and overall well-being. Some women experience problems with their memory, and it's difficult for them to handle their jobs. Dan Gottlieb and his guests will discuss menopause from a medical, psychological and spiritual perspective. Our guests are Dr. Helene Leonetti and Kathleen O'Hara. Leonetti is a practicing OB/GYN from Bethlehem, PA, and the author of Menopause: A Spiritual Renaissance. O'Hara is a counselor and therapist in Philadelphia, she also teaches meditation.
