We'll discuss the possible reasons for this stark increase and explore long-term treatment. Our guests are Dr. Paul Fink - Prof. of Psychiatry at Temple University School of Medicine. We'll also hear from Stephen Eliot whose memoir "Not the Thing I Was" details his experiences growing up in a school for mentally disturbed children.

Dr. Dan Gottlieb's guest is psychologist Dr. Barbara Fishman, author of "Emotional Healing Through Mindfulness Meditation." She explores how a combination of therapy and meditation can heal emotional pain. Visit www.emotionalhealing.net
