via Real Audio Every nine minutes, an American is diagnosed with Parkinsons' disease, and 40 percent of patients are under the age of 60. On this edition of Voices in the Family, we'll hear the story of one family affected by Parkinsons' - journalist Mort Kondracke has written a passionate account of his wife's struggle with the devastating disease. "Saving Millie" is about love, marriage, loss and hope. Mort Kondracke joins us along with Parkinsons' researcher Dr. Jeffrey Kordower. He is the director of research at the Center for Brain Repair at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago.

via Real Audio Dr. Gottlieb and his guests will discuss several issues surrounding the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington. We will be joined by Omar Blaik, Vice President in the Administration at the University of Pennsylvania. He offered his services to the President of the University to help counsel Muslim and Arab students. We'll also hear from Dr. Ervin Staub, professor of psychology at the University of Massachusetts, he is an international expert on ethnic warfare and genocide. Psychologist Dr. Jim Coane will speak about trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder and healing.

via Real Audio According to new studies a majority of students participate in bullying - behaviors that range from violence to verbal threats and abuse. Dr. Dan Gottlieb will discuss why bullying seems to be more prevalent today, and what we can do about it. His guest is Dr. Dorothy Espelage, professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois, who has interviewed hundreds of school children across the country.
