When Fresh Air vacated its local time slot to become a nationally distributed program, a new show was needed to fill the void. So, in April of 1987, the daily interview and call-in program Radio Times debuted on 91FM, with Marty Moss-Coane as its producer and host. Marty had come to WHYY in 1983 to work on Family Matters (now Voices in the Family), and was later an assistant producer of Fresh Air.
