The Peter Wentz Farmstead
The Peter Wentz Farmstead in Montgomery County invites the public for events all year long. Just off Route 73, this 90 acre historic site features a furnished stone house set among fields, orchards, and gardens just as it was during the American Revolution. Today, the original stone barn is the heart of an authentically equipped, working 18th century farm. After touring the grounds and greeting the livestock, pick up your pickle Christmas ornaments and Quaker cooking books from the museum store. The Wentz Farmstead, often visited by school groups, is open all year round.
